NCAFPM Annual Conference Information! May 3 - 6 , 2026 Atlantic Beach North Carolina We are excited to use AssociationSphere this year because it streamlines the registration process and allows you to manage all your selections in one place. Conference attendance, Sponsorships as well as guest registrations are available on the same site. Note to recieve discounted membership rates you will need to use the members primary email address and can only register one member at a time. Registration is Now Open REGISTRATION The early bird full conference registration rate is $305 for NCAFPM members ($400 for non-members) and is applicable through March 20, 2026. After that date, the regular rate will go into effect - $370 for NCAFPM members ($460 for non-members). One-day rates for NCAFPM members $170 ($230 for non-members) If you would like to receive the membership rate, and are not a member you will be given an opportunity to join during the registration process. The registration fee includes sessions and workshops, exhibitor’s social, two (2) lunches, conference social at the NC Aquarium, break snacks, and conference giveaway. Additional options are available on the registration form to pay for guest social tickets and for the golf tournament (information coming soon). Enhancing Coastal Resilience Workshop: Training in FEMA Coastal Modeling and Mapping Coastal communities are facing increasing flood risk driven by storm surge, waves, erosion, and sea level rise. This fee based technical workshop provides a focused, practical overview of FEMA’s coastal flood hazard analysis and mapping methodologies used to develop Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) and supporting coastal studies. This will be a special workshop on Monday Afternoon. Space is limited to 30 participants and there will be an additional $30 fee for this workshop. Registration will close at 5:00 PM April 20, 2026.  Refund Policy Full refunds (less credit card fees) can be given if requested by Wednesday April 6, 2026. After April 6, 2026, until registration closes on April 20, 2026, you may receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued if you do not provide notice before the conference registration closes.  All cancellation requests shall be submitted via email to ncafpm@ncafpm.org. The email system date will be used as determination of the date received.  Presenters Note that all presenters must register for the conference. Program Please click here to view the current DRAFT program.     Continuing Education There willl be a total of 15 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) available however, a maximum of 12 can be awarded per event. 12 will be awarded for entire conference participation (Monday - 6 CECs, Tuesday 6 CECs, Wednesday - 3.0 CECs). Continuing education certificates will be emailed to attendees after the conference. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Susan Frady. CFM Exam The Certified Floodplain Manager exam will be offered on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Those who wish to take the exam must apply separately. For NC exam information and application, go to the NCAFPM Certification page.
